Matt Whitehouse // The Heartbreaks

I took this photo back in February whilst in Morecambe working on the promo pics for The Heartbreaks.  We were inside this old Italian ice cream parlour, the back window was huge, frosted and was creating beautiful shallow light. It was mainly falling on two painter and decorators, who were retouching the old frame the window sat in.  The light was cold, soft, and had a great presence in the room.  In between shooting a 4 foot fibreglass ice-cream and a quater ton cast iron donkey, I asked Matt to pose for 5 or 6 frames.  This was the last one.
